So far I like Shutterfly. I’ve transferred almost all of my current pictures (i.e. from Christmas and New Year’s).
But some things are not easy. I have my own Shutterfly page where I upload pictures and can edit (titles, rotate, etc). But I have to go through additional steps to get those pictures onto my publicly viewable page. And if I add a few new pictures to an existing album on my account, I can’t just add those few new ones to the same album on my public page — I have to add the entire album all over again. Humph.
I haven’t tried linking a photo from Shutterfly into the blog yet…
You might want to check out webshots…

I’ve moved my ESL pictures there and although I haven’t ordered prints, the free account is a pretty good deal.

Oh, I really don’t want to move my pictures AGAIN. It takes so long with dialup. But I will keep your recommendation in mind if I can’t figure out how to work with Shutterfly nicely enough. Thanks!

One _would_ think the writers of these pieces of software would write them to be esay to use, but they don’t. I guess they just don’t get it. Making things that much trouble to use is not what people need.
Sorry you’re having trouble with this. Sometimes, though, you actually have to try something out before finding out the problems.
I know you don’t want to move all the pictures again, but maybe you could try a few photos, not all, until you find out if a new place works well.
