Stop with the videos already!
I have eight videos waiting on a CD for their chance to get out of the house and into YouTube.
Eight!
One is the spaghetti video that didn’t work last time.
The others are cute sounds and movements. One includes Mark. They’re all just a bit different, and all under a minute long.
But still — it’s hard enough (yet worth it) to narrow down pictures to the best few, and even harder to cut down videos.
I keep thinking about her grandparents who don’t get to see her every day or even every week or month. And some of these things I want to keep to remember later, too.
Speaking of keeping things to remember, I found out recently (I forget where or how) about a site that provides software you can use to turn your blog into a book. What a neat way to make a hard copy, especially for folks who don’t get their photos printed to put in scrapbooks or other albums. Along very similar lines, Creative Memories has software you can use to make a book of your digital pictures.
When you can’t get to see family as much as you’d like to video is a great idea. Heck, it’s a great idea to send it to friends too that you don’t get to see that often. I use to do it all the time and recently started again. But seeing as how I don’t have voice on my digital I have to dub them “Short Silent Aussie Films” then put in some kind of music that fit my mood at the time. It’s fun.
I’ve got one hard copy of an old blog from AOL but anything from 2006 to the present is all out in cyberspace. I back it up on disk by the month but I don’t have anything in hard copy and I certainly don’t have any pictures with it.
I don’t get tired of Amy’s videos at all so keep posting them.
