1. I have two braids of Easter bread rising in the kitchen. I suppose it’s an Italian thing; I got the recipe from my mom. Made by hand — usually if I make bread I make the dough in the machine.
2. There’s also a pot of chicken stock on the stove.
3. Amy likes squash.
4. Even though I feel worn out and exhausted already, I don’t have anything else I must do today, except continue to take care of Amy.
5. I had a nice juicy orange with lunch (because I needed the peel for the Easter bread).
